How does the transfer from the train station work?
When you arrive at Worgl Train Station, look for a Contiki Team member who will be on a classic Contiki Coach or a white van. Shuttles depart at 8:30am, 10:30am, 2:30pm, and 4:30pm, and you do not need to pre-book.

How do I get from the accommodation to the slopes?
Free daily shuttles are available to and from Haus Schöneck from 8am-10am (every 30 minutes) and returning from 3pm-6pm (every 30 minutes).

Can I have dinner at the accommodation?
Yes, you can sign up for the Half Board option, which includes 2 courses of hearty home-cooked food available for 3 nights. On the other night, you can explore local restaurants as the kitchen will be closed. Payment can be made at the resort.

At Haus Schöneck, you can pay by cash or card. However, it is recommended to have some cash for local restaurants as some Gasthofs on the mountain only accept cash. There are 3 ATMs in Hopfgarten if you need to withdraw cash.

The Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental is one of Europe’s largest interconnected ski resorts, featuring over 270 km of ski runs, 70 lifts and cable cars, and 80 mountain huts.

Can I book ski or snowboard lessons if I have never skied before?
Yes, you can book lessons. Group lessons start on a Sunday and can be booked for up to 3 days. Intermediate and advanced lessons are also available, and private lessons can be arranged upon request. If you are on a Weekender trip, you might not be able to book a group lesson, but private lessons are always an option.

Yes, you are invited to a themed party at the exclusive Bar Schöneck and once a week, you can join a local guide to explore the mountain.

How long has the tour company been trading?
In 1961, a guy called John Anderson founded Contiki in New Zealand. Whilst later bought by The Travel Corporation, the tour company had already been using the name ‘Contiki’ since its inception.
